Britpart developed the Lynx in collaboration with Omitec, and offers a multi-vehicle version for professional users as well as a single-vehicle model for DIYers. The interface runs on Microsoft Windows and works in conjunction with a laptop, making it easy to use and capable of displaying more information than smaller handheld diagnostic devices.
Lynx will read and clear fault codes, test actuators, handle programming issues such as alarm settings and key fobs, and reset service messages. For the DIY mechanic, we reckon that’s a whole list of very useful ways to save money.
